My name is Trent Daniel. I am the Love County Undersheriff. I began my law enforcement career in 2011 as a Military Police Officer with the Oklahoma Army National Guard (O.K.A.R.N.G). During the next 10 years, I had numerous domestic deployments for various events and disasters. Some of the bigger deployments were in May 2013 for the Moore, OK tornado and the 2017 Inauguration of the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump in Washington D.C, being sworn in with a special commission for the Washington D.C. Metro Police Department.
Obtaining my C.L.E.E.T certification in 2015 in the A1501 Academy, I continued my service in the OKARNG, working for the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office. In May 2017, I attended Basic Leader Course for the United States Army in Sante Fe, NM and obtained the rank of Sergeant, E-5. I was then selected to be put on active-duty orders for the OKARNG and stationed in Ardmore, OK in 2017. I moved to Love County in 2017 and continued my service for the OKARNG in recruiting and retention as a Recruiting Non-Commissioned Officer, as well as maintaining my civilian law enforcement certification.
During my career in law enforcement and through my military service, I have attended numerous leadership classes and have held many different roles in civilian and military law enforcement. I am also an instructor for First Aid/CPR/AED through the American Red Cross and I hold my basic instructor certification through CLEET.
I am married to my beautiful wife, Bre, and have 4 children: Cheyenne, Blair, Hank, and Sutton. I also pastor the Rawhide Cowboy Church in Ardmore, OK. I was promoted to Undersheriff on July 6, 2022. Working with Sheriff Andy Cumberledge, together, we plan to take the Love County Sheriff’s Office to places never imagined. It is my honor and privilege to serve as your Undersheriff and I look forward to serving you for years to come.
